City House will lead a one-day workshop that teaches spiritual listening with people in the margins of society. The course, developed by City House staff and consultants, is based on years of experience of providing Spiritual Companions to people in poverty, recovering from addiction, and those reentering society after prison. By offering this workshop, City House hopes to equip people with the basics of spiritual listening—and to have them experience it—so they are more able reach out with compassion and without judgment to others who may be outside of their comfort zone.
