City House thrives on the quality of our volunteers. Our staff relies on the wisdom and dedication of these greatly appreciated individuals. Our volunteer Spiritual Directors provide one-on-one and on-site group spiritual direction at our partner social service agencies.

Attending to the spiritual needs of City House clients is an amazing and rewarding experience. Your service to others as a City House volunteer will also provide spiritual inspiration to your own life.

The well-being of our volunteers is very important to us. We provide orientation sessions, semi-annual development programs and peer supervision experiences. Though our volunteers and our clients typically walk very different roads in this life, real bonds are forged and real progress is made by focusing on honesty, attentiveness and peace.
