Because of a deep concern for the increasing number of spiritually homeless souls, the
idea of City House was built. The staff of City House brings their care and compassion
for this work in addition to their experience and training.
City House Founder: Reverend James Dodge
Jim Dodge is the founder of City House. He has Bachelor’s
and Master’s degrees from the University of Minnesota, as
well as a Masters of Divinity from United Theological
Seminary in the Twin Cities. He is an ordained United
Methodist Minister and has served as a Minister to churches.
He was trained as a Spiritual Director at Shalem Institute
in Washington, D.C., and has 15 years of experience as a
spiritual guide to others. Jim Dodge was recently awarded
the McKnight Foundation's Unsung Hero Award.
Executive Director: Tom Allen

Tom Allen has a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois
University. He has served as a health care administrator; Vice
President for Corporate Development for Augsburg Fortress,
Publishers; and self-employed organization development
consultant to both businesses and non-profits. He received
his training as a Spiritual Director from Christos Spiritual
Formation Center in Lino Lakes, MN.
Executive Director: Jean Grover

Jean Grover has a Bachelor's degree from The College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. She has served as the Vice President of Business Development at Smarte Carte, Inc. where she was responsible for strategic sales planning, market expansion, operations and relationship management. Jean has also served in various management and administrative capacities in non-profit and private business sectors. She is working towards her Master's Degree in Congregational Mission and Leadership at Luther Seminary in St. Paul.

Tamie has a Bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University; and a chemical dependency certificate from St. Cloud State University. She has 15 years experience as a chemical
health counselor in various public schools and treatment centers. Tamie received her training as a Spiritual
Director from Christos Center for Spiritual Formation in Lino Lakes.
Administrative Manager: Deb Gorczycki

Deb has a Bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University, with an emphasis in nonprofit and human services administration. She has 12 years of experience in various administrative and management positions in for
profit and nonprofit sectors. Two years of that experience is in providing direct service to disadvantaged clients through Community Action Council in Apple Valley/Rosemount. Deb received her
training as a Spiritual Director from Christos Center for Spiritual Formation in Lino Lakes.
