The added value of soul.
City House provides valuable, life-changing services that matter right now to those in spiritual need. Poverty, addiction, loss and apathy turn people away from the God that lives within them; City House turns the spirit to face the divine potential. Each found and restored soul matters. We promote inner strength and fulfillment and are open to all faith traditions -- God is immeasurable and is there for each one of us. It’s funding that always seems to be in short supply.

City House works with social service agencies to add a unique non-denominational spiritual dimension to their services. We serve the people these agencies serve by giving them a holistic approach to spiritual healing. We are the only organization in this community doing this work. We have proven that the need exists and that our work is of great benefit.

We have more than 30 experienced, active and dedicated volunteer spiritual companions.

A choice to fund City House is a choice to care. The return on your investment is a return on inspiration. Our impact is one life made right, just in time. We make a difference one soul at a time. We hope (and pray) that you will be generous.

City House has a business plan. We understand the realities of funding, finance and accountability. Our budgets are efficient and we use every dime wisely. We deliver approximately 3500 visits per year to this community.

Where does the money go?
(Based on a typical site.)

Ongoing one-on-one sessions. Honest and purposeful face-to-face interaction is at the core of our philosophy.

Group spiritual companion sessions. These augment individual sessions and allow for additional sharing and support.

2-4 volunteer spiritual companions per location. Recruitment, selection, training and mentoring of outstanding volunteers is very important to us.

Creating and developing City House/social service agency relationships through ongoing communication and interaction.

Regular assessment of the needs and progress at each
working location.

Help us expand the "House."
City House seeks funding directed to a specific location or initiative, in addition to general funding targeting the greatest need. If you have a special place in your heart for a deserving group, here’s your chance to specifically target your resources. Or, you can simply allow us to put your generosity to work in the most effective way.

Please consider funding on a higher level:
