Please join us for a celebration from 7-9 pm Thursday Oct 20th, 2011 at the Basilica of St. Mary's in downtown Minneapolis. Meet the new staff: Kara Ferguson, Administration; Jennifer Pedalty, Program Director and Tom Esch, Executive Director. They will be present, along with several participants and volunteer spiritual listeners who will be sharing some stories. Tom will be giving a “State of the City House” reflection based on his thoughts about where the Spirit might be leading the organization.
Many of us recognize the amazing treasure we have in the work of City House. Since we began in 2000 many good people—from the margins and the mainstream of life— have made a real difference in each other’s lives. The spiritual connections, friendships and insights that unfold when volunteers and participants meet each other at a heart-level are truly transformative. We contribute to the common good in a unique and powerful way.
Please join us in celebrating the treasure which is the work of City House, hearing stories from those closest to the soul of the work and welcoming the new staff. Appetizers and drinks will be served. Program starts at 7:30 pm.
