The spirit is always at work within City House.
City House opened its metaphoric doors in 2000. In reality, City House is not a place, but a philosophy of spiritual exploration and companionship. We are a dedicated staff of experienced and educated professionals. Our collective foundation includes work and training in theology, spiritual direction, communications and the non-profit sector.

City House is a nonprofit organization with over 30 active volunteer spiritual directors. We provide our services by partnering with social service agencies; we work with the agency’s clients, providing a spiritual complement to the agency’s own mission.

We offer individual one-on-one sessions, group direction, and organized retreats.

City House believes this: Spirituality is strength.
The form, variety and flavor of your spirituality are up to you. Your soul is the divine driver of what you are able to do, resist and understand. This inner resource has an infinite depth.

Spirituality is not a doctrine or an institution.
Your spirituality is your relationship with God, however you define God. City House believes in the God within all of us.
